At SMM Deal Finder, we are committed to protecting the privacy of our users. We adhere to principles of data minimization, and we only request or access the minimal amount of Google user data necessary to operate its core functionality and provide a positive user experience with all of our products.

Information Collection and Use of Google User Data

We use Google Sign-In to streamline your registration and login experience. When you sign up with Google, we request access to the following scopes:

SMM Deal Finder allows you to create and manage outreach campaigns using templates you design within our platform. To send emails with your Google Workspace or Gmail Google Email directly in our platform (using your templates and messages), you have the option to connect your Google Workspace or personal Gmail account. Connecting your account allows you to send your pre-designed email templates and custom emails directly through your own email account. SMM Deal Finder acts as an intermediary only for sending the prepared messages within your own parameters as long you have approved by our administrator. This connection is entirely optional, and all other platform features are accessible without connecting your email. We don’t track, we don’t modify, and we don’t store any of your messages. We only store the number of emails sent to make you are not sending too many emails (Limit is 50 emails/day). This will help your deliverability and ensure that you are not sending too many emails from your own inbox.

  • .../auth/userinfo.email: We access your primary Google Account email address to uniquely identify your account within our system and to communicate with you about important account-related information, updates, and notifications.
  • .../auth/userinfo.profile: We access your personal info, including any personal info you've made publicly available (such as your name and profile picture), to populate your profile on our platform and personalize your experience. This information is displayed on your profile page.
  • openid: This scope allows us to associate you with your personal info on Google, enabling you to sign up and log in to SMM Deal Finder using your Google account.

If you choose to connect a Gmail or Google Workspace account to send emails through your own account, we will request the gmail.send scope SOLELY to transmit emails on your behalf based on templates and messages you have built and configured on the SMM Deal Finder platform. Our administrators are NOT able to view these messages, as we don’t store them. This only occurs after explicit approval (with the gmail.send scope) and continuous active consent to utilize the integration. We never store or retain the content of your emails, nor do we access or inspect them, it is compliant to use the system via our policy.

How We Use Your Google User Data

The Google user data we collect is ONLY used to provide and improve the following user-facing features, which are prominent within our application:

Account Creation and Login: Your Google email address and name is used to create and manage your account, allowing you to securely log in. The 'Sign In With Google' button facilitates the secure setup of your account within our system and provides a simpler way to access our platform's features following discovery of the trying our niche-finder tool on the homepage or (https://www.smmdealfinder.com/try). search results. When You click to connect through your google screen, you explicitly approve the use of of Gmail for the full integration of features. When you opt to do this, you have 100% responsibility of the messages that you send. This is because, if messages are sent inappropriately, there may be an effect on your own inbox.

Data Sharing and Transfers (Google User Data)

We DO NOT sell, rent, or trade your Google user data to ANY third parties for promotional or other purposes.

**Explicit Consent for Data Transfers:** In addition, Google strictly indicates that, even transferring data for the purposes below, user data is not permissable unless explicit consent from the user is granted, and is visible in the interface.

However, to comply with google's requirements, under strict indications and in a limited set of circumstances, we may transfer your Google User Data under the following conditions:

  • To Provide or Improve User-Facing Features (with Consent): To provide or improve user-facing features in SMM Deal Finder that are visible and prominent in the application's user interface, and only with the user's explicit, affirmative consent. We will obtain your consent before any such transfer occurs and explain the purpose of the transfer.
  • For Security Purposes: To investigate or respond to security incidents, abuse, or suspicious activity related to your account or the SMM Deal Finder platform.
  • To Comply with Applicable Laws: To comply with valid legal requests, subpoenas, or court orders.
  • As Part of a Business Transaction (with Explicit Consent): In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets of SMM Deal Finder, we may transfer your Google User Data to the acquiring entity. However, we will only do so with your explicit, prior consent. You will be given the opportunity to review and approve the transfer of your data to the new entity.

We explicitly prohibit all other uses of Google user data not expressly permitted in this Privacy Policy, including but not limited to transferring, selling, or using user data for: (a) serving ads, retargeting, or personalized/interest-based advertising; (b) transferring or selling user data to third parties like advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers; (c) Determining Credit-worthiness or for lending purposes.

Because We neither use User input, Data, or setting for machine learning, nor track metrics using the aggregate use of email features, nor personal data, there will never be a use case where will need to disclose any aggregated user usage.

Compliance with Google's Limited Use Policy

Our use of Google user data is strictly governed by Google's Limited Use requirements. We ensure that:

  • Data Use Limitation: Google user data is used exclusively for providing and improving user-facing features that are prominent within our application. No other uses are permitted without explicit user consent.
  • Advertising and Analytics: We do not use Google user data for serving ads, analytics beyond stated purposes, or any form of personalized advertising.
  • Machine Learning:We do not use any data obtained through Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

All user data handling complies with rigorous security and privacy standards, ensuring data is protected both in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard encryption to safeguard your data.

Data Consent and Revocation

Users have full control and can revoke access to their Google account at any time through their Google account security settings. If there are any changes to how we use your data, we will:

  • Notify you via email and within the app.
  • Require your renewed consent through Google's OAuth process before applying any new data uses.

Data Sharing and Security

We adhere to strict guidelines for data sharing. Your Google user data:

  • Is never sold, rented, or traded to third parties for promotional purposes.
  • May only be transferred to third parties with your explicit consent and only under specific, permitted circumstances such as security investigations or legal compliance.

Our platform utilizes robust encryption and access protocols to ensure your data's integrity and confidentiality.

Children's Privacy

SMM Deal Finder is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect or process data from this age group. If a child's data is inadvertently collected, we will promptly delete it upon notification.

Employee and Agent Compliance

All our employees, agents, contractors, and successors are required to comply with this Google API Services User Data Policy. All agents are fully aware of this policy in maintaining the user of our tools to its highest security and satisfaction possible. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

Human Access to Google User Data

Human Access to Google User Data - IMPORTANT: As a general rule, human employees DO NOT access your Google User Data, including the content of emails sent through the connected Gmail/Google Workspace integration. We have implemented technical and organizational safeguards to prevent unauthorized access to your data. Access is given only on consent of authorization with a Google Admin, who will allow which role will be able to view information (if any) such as the metadata associated with your data.

In very limited circumstances, and only with appropriate justification and authorization, select members of our security or engineering teams may access very limited metadata associated with your account and the integration. The user data is never viewed and analyzed. This may occur in the following specific cases:

  • Security Purposes: Responding to a verified security incident (account compromise, unusual activity flags) that warrants investigation and requires a Google Admin, who may be able to determine a potential hack of the server
  • Legal Compliance: Responding to a valid legal request from a law enforcement.
  • System Troubleshooting: Diagnosing a critical system issue that prevents you from accessing the platform or sending messages and requires advanced troubleshooting. Note: This is only done when it is impossible to resolve the issue without investigating integration-related logs or metadata.

In no circumstance will employees access the content of emails or other user data , in a way that can possibly violate privacy or security principles. All human employees are bound by our strict Google User Data policy and can be immediately terminated if one of our rules is broken. and that all access is audited and logged and can be traced back to you.

Data Retention

We retain your Google email address and the OAuth 2.0 access and refresh tokens necessary for fulfilling email-sending functionality (for those users that set up a connection with outreach) for as long as your account is active on our platform OR until you specifically revoke access to your Google account from our service through your Google account settings OR until you request deletion of your account and associated data. We want to emphasize that data removal requests must make sure that the user, email, and access have been cleared by human audit AND a check by a Google Admin, to make sure that the correct data is being removed because that is our highest priority, user security.

After either of these situations occur, the data will permanently be removed.

Data Security

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information and Google user data. Access to your personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only. We use industry-standard encryption both in transit and at rest to protect your data. Here are some of measurements that we'll take:

  • Our platform is preparing to become SOC2 compliant, demonstrating our commitment to rigorous security controls and data protection standards.
  • We perform annual security audits by a reputable third-party security firm.
  • All data is encrypted using industry-standard TLS encryption in transit, and at rest, sensitive personal information and Google User data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption .
  • We have internal policies in place to govern access to user data and limit access to authorized personnel for legitimate business purposes only.

Google Account Connection - Consent and Revocation

When you choose to connect your Google account and enable Gmail-powered outreach on SMM Deal Finder, you will be redirected to Google's secure authorization page to grant us access to your Gmail account using the gmail.send scope. This authorization MUST be granted by YOU by inputting in your personal information, and authenticating it to your connected Google Account. You can, and must verify that it says SMM Deal finder, with our Google Account, and must give express consent to authorize sending through our system with said account. You have the right to revoke our access to your Google account at any time through your Google account security settings. Revoking access will disable the Gmail-powered outreach feature

Employee and Agent Compliance

All our employees, agents, contractors, and successors are required to comply with this Google API Services User Data Policy. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

Policy Changes

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.
